The high solid epoxy and solvent-free epoxy technology in the Sigma Coatings brand is unique in the world. After 38 years of continuous improvement, its solvent-free epoxy technology has matured. The fifth generation of solvent-free epoxy can be applied at room temperature using conventional equipment just like ordinary paint, and has received approval from many customers.

Currently, all of our global production plants have reached ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

Business in China
The group's business headquarters in Greater China (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) is located in Shanghai, with nearly a hundred employees. At the same time, our company has offices in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Tianjin, and representative offices in Xiamen and Wuhan. Over the past decade, the company's business volume has grown exponentially, developing very rapidly in China.

Our company also has bonded warehouses in China, located in Tianjin, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Nantong. All warehouses are stocked with sufficient paint.

Production Plants in China
The group has invested in a modern paint production plant in the Kunshan Economic Development Zone near Shanghai, which officially started production in March 1999. Sigma Coatings (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 10.2 million US dollars, covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters, with an annual output of 25,000 tons, and is 100% controlled by PPG Group. At the same time, the Asian R&D center was also completed and put into use at the end of 2001.

Nearly 70% of the paint produced by the factory is exported abroad.

The factory is managed on-site by Mr. Cees Rijinsburger, sent from the Netherlands as the factory manager, and Mr. Steve Harris, with nearly 20 years of experience, serves as production and technical guidance.

The main production equipment and all R&D equipment of the factory are imported from well-known manufacturers abroad. The production is controlled by computers for material input, using fully enclosed pipeline production, and is equipped with advanced sand mills, ball mills, automatic packaging machines, computer color matching machines, etc.
