New regulations on production emissions will take effect from July 1, 2017

In light of environmental protection concerns, the Ministry of Environmental Protection has formulated"Standards for the Control of Unorganized Emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds"and"Emission Standards for Air Pollutants from the Paint, Ink, and Adhesive Industry"These two national environmental protection standards limit the emissions of air pollutants from the manufacturing of paints, inks, and similar products, and seek opinions from major paint and ink production enterprises,Haihong Elderis one of them.

The new standards stipulate that existing enterprises will no longer implement the relevant provisions of the existing GB 16297 "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants" afterJanuary 1, 2019, but will instead implement the industry emission standards nationwide; new enterprises will start implementing fromJuly 1, 2017.
