Description
The Hempadur 45141 is a two-component polyamide adduct cured epoxy paint, featuring good wettability and low water permeability. This product can be used as a primer, and its tough film is resistant to wear, impact, seawater, mineral oils, and fatty hydrocarbon solvents, as well as resistant to diesel, gasoline, lubricating oils, and splashes from corresponding products. This product is harmless to grains.
Complies with EU Directive 2004/42/EC "on the limitation of volatile organic compounds in paints: Subcategory j."

Recommended Uses
Can be used as a thick slurry primer, intermediate paint, and/or topcoat in high-performance paint systems. (Can be used as a topcoat when decorative requirements are not high). Can be used as a repair paint in the epoxy paint series for application above 15°C, suitable for hard-to-reach areas such as hatches, decks, and cargo holds that require high standards of surface treatment. Can be used as ballast tank paint. 45143 is designed for low/medium temperature conditions, while 45141 is for higher temperature conditions. See application guidelines.

Usage Temperature:
- Under dry conditions: Maximum usage temperature: 150°C [302°F].
- Maximum temperature in seawater (without temperature difference): 40°C [104°F].
