    Description

    Hempel's Zinc Primer 16490 is a single-component, high molecular weight, fast-drying, phenoxy-based zinc-rich primer.

     

    Recommended Uses

    Used as a steel protective primer in harsh corrosive environments. As a repair paint for Elderly brand inorganic zinc coatings and other zinc-rich coatings. As a repair paint for galvanized steel parts, with zinc content meeting SSPC–Paint 20, type 2, level 3.

     

    Usage Temperature:

    - Under dry conditions: maximum usage temperature: 120°C [248°F].
