The Hempadur Quattro XO 17720 is a pure epoxy coating with high construction flexibility. It has good wear resistance and excellent corrosion and mechanical properties. This primer is suitable for year-round use and is ideal for new shipbuilding, ballast tanks, cargo oil tanks, and holds. The product is available with different aluminum and fiber pigment contents, providing tailored optimized performance for different usage conditions, enhancing crack resistance, and reducing maintenance work during the lifespan of the vessel.

The Elder brand pure epoxy paint 17720 is a versatile high-performance self-priming coating suitable for atmospheric or submerged environments, including cargo holds, ballast water tanks, and cargo oil tanks coated according to IMO-PSPC requirements. This product can be used year-round and is also suitable for situations requiring quick re-coating and handling. When used for ballast water service, this product can withstand normal offshore environmental temperatures (avoiding prolonged exposure to negative temperature gradients). - Under dry conditions: Maximum usage temperature: 120°C [248°F].
